Blake Griffin has been named the 2011 NBA Rookie of the Year by a unanimous vote – only the third player in NBA history to do so (David Robinson, ’90; Ralph Sampson ’84).

Yesterday, SLOD gave a rundown of every MVP by teamDerrick Rose, the 2011 NBA MVP, also won the Rookie of the Year (’09).  Does that bode well for a possible future Griffin MVP?

Maybe.
