Derek Jeter hit safely again Saturday night, upping his career total to 2,985 – just 15 hits shy of 3,000.  He is the current active hits leader.

Today’s Sports List of the Day looks at the top 20 active players with the most hits (thru Friday’s games).  Of those on the list, only Jeter, Chipper Jones, Ichiro Suzuki, Todd Helton and Albert Pujols have played their whole careers with one team.
