Sports List of the Day has already taken a look at players with the most championships in baseball and basketball – lists dominated by the New York Yankees and Boston Celtics, respectively.

The Montreal Canadiens play that role in the NHL.  Only 6 of the 25 players listed below did not play for the Canadiens.

Where’s the Great One?  Wayne Gretzky only had four cups to his credit.  He left for the L.A. Kings before the Edmonton Oilers won it in 1990 and came to the New York Rangers after they had won it in 1994.
