New Meadowlands Stadium to Become MetLife Stadium: NFL Stadium Names
Posted by Vin Getz
MetLife has reportedly purchased the naming rights to New Meadowlands Stadium (where both the New York Giants and New York Jets play their home games).
The insurance firm may be plopping down $400 million for the rights – $20 million a year for the next 20 years.
That means 20 NFL teams now play in stadiums that are named after corporate sponsors.
