Baseball Teams with the Most Wins of All Time
Posted by Vin Getz
Here’s a rundown of all-time regular season wins for every baseball franchise as of the date of this post.
For a look at the teams that roll up into each of these franchises, check out a previous SLOD post: MLB History of Team Name Changes.
The Giants have the most wins of any franchise in baseball history, but the Cubs are not far behind at all.
The Yankees, while eighth all time, are the first franchise of the 20th century to make the list.
The Angels have the most wins of any “modern” franchise.
Update: The Cincinnati Reds have won their sixth game of the 2012 season and have become the sixth team in history to win 10,000 games.
