Mike Krzyzewski became the all-time winningest coach in Division I college basketball history last night as the sixth-ranked Duke Blue Devils defeated the 12th-ranked Michigan State Spartans at Madison Square Garden, 74-69. Coach K now has 903 wins.

He’s a big reason Duke’s got 1,947 wins – fourth most in college basketball history (as of the date of this post).

But it’s the Kentucky Wildcats who are the top…dog. They, the Kansas Jayhawks and North Carolina Tar Heels are the only schools with over 2,000 victories.

For the latest wins of every school, hit up my source: sports-reference.com.

For a look at the top 25 winningest coaches in Division I history, take a look at this earlier Sports List of the Day post: Mike Krzyzewski and College Basketball Coaches with the Most Wins (Division I).
