NBA 2011-12: Opening Odds to Win the NBA Championship
The opening odds to win the 2011-12 NBA Title have been released. These provided courtesy the Las Vegas Hilton.
The Miami Heat, runners-up in 2010-11, are favored to win it all at 2-1. Last year’s champs, the Dallas Mavericks are at 7-1.
Expect these numbers to change as free agency heats up and the belated, condensed 66-game season gets in full stride.
Injuries might be an issue this season, as most players and teams will have just two weeks to get into game shape. A critical injury here or there would change the NBA landscape.
