New York Rangers Win 2012 NHL Winter Classic; All-Time Winter Classic Results
The NHL Winter Classic is a yearly outdoor regular-season NHL game that features two American franchises battling for a chilly 2 points. It is held around the New Year.
Today, the New York Rangers defeated the Philadelphia Flyers at Citizens Bank Park (the Phillies’ stadium) 3-2 in front of a very un-hockey-like 48,000 plus.
The first Winter Classic was held in 2008. Here are the results from then to today.
