NASCAR: Drivers with the Most Budweiser Shootout Wins
The thing is, it’s an exhibition race and does not count towards the season’s standings. It’s a race just for cash and prestige, but not for points.
The true season begins with the biggest race on the event calendar: the Daytona 500, which runs the week after the Shootout.
The first run of the Shootout was in 1979 – Buddy Baker took the checkered flag.
Here’s a look at those drivers with multiple Budweiser Shootout wins. It looks like the Intimidator has the field lapped…
