The Best Free-Throw Shooters in NBA History

Mark Price Is the Greatest Free-Throw Shooter in NBA History

Kyrie Irving, the Cleveland Cavaliers rookie (and No. 1 pick) out of Duke – and current frontrunner for NBA Rookie of the Year – sunk two free throws tonight with just 0.4 ticks left to defeat the Sacramento Kings 93-92.  Pretty clutch.

Irving’s sitting at an 85% free-throw percentage this year.

He’ll have to pick it up a little if he wants to be on this list someday. It’s the top 25 cagers with the best free-throw percentage of all time.

Hey, there’s Kevin Durant.  Steve Nash, Chauncey Billups, Ray Allen and Dirk Nowitzki are the other active players on the list.

And look at that, it’s Mark Price, himself a longtime Cavalier, at the top.
