Most Career Triple-Doubles in NBA History
Posted by Vin Getz
The Boston Celtics‘ Rajon Rondo has been the subject of recent trade rumors. That was a shocker for me. Isn’t Rondo easily one of the best point guards in the league?
Let me give you an example: There have been nine triple-doubles in the NBA this year so far. Rondo has three of them.
But word is, Rondo is a primadonna pain in the a$$.
Celtics coach, Doc Rivers, quashed the rumors today, though, saying, “My relationship with Rajon is as strong as it has ever been…Our communication has never been better. I want him here. I can say with almost 100 percent certainty he will be here with us when the season ends. I’m tired of this stuff. It’s not fair.” (espn.com)
Either way, this story left me curious. Which NBAers have the most career triple-doubles (regular season)? Here they are.
Only three players have at least 100, including active Maverick Jason Kidd.
Thanks to wikipedia for this one, where you can read more about triple-doubles, and see who ranks 11 – 15.
