MLB: Greatest Road Franchises in Baseball History (Best All Time Road Records)
The Yankees are the Best Road Team of All Time
Yesterday, Sports List of the Day checked out the all time home records of all 30 active baseball franchises. The New York Yankees have the best home W-L percentage of them all.
But who plays the best on the road?
It’s the Yankees again. They’ve just got a bunch of wins all around. They are also, in fact, the only active franchise with a road record over .500.
The Phillies, on the other hand, feature near the bottom of both lists. They’ve just got a whole bunch of losses in general.
Eleven of the top 12 franchises on this list are old-timers, going way back to the wee days of the sport. But then, there in sixth, squeaketh the Angels. They’ve only been around since 1961.
