Miami Heat’s LeBron James is 2012 NBA MVP: Players with the Most MVPs
Posted by Vin Getz
The Miami Heat franchise has its first MVP: LeBron James.
James takes home the 2012 NBA MVP award; He won two back-to-back with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2009 and 2010. So LeBron has won three of the last four MVPs, with Derrick Rose in between in 2011.
LeBron is halfway to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar‘s all-time leading six MVPs. The Chicago Bulls‘ Michael Jordan and Boston Celtics‘ Bill Russell have five apiece in second.
Here’s a list of all NBAers who won more than one MVP.
