Tiger Woods, Sam Snead and the Top 20 Golfers with the Most PGA Tour Wins
Posted by Vin Getz
Is Tiger Woods back? Maybe not THE Tiger Woods, but still someone better than everyone else perhaps?
Woods notched his third victory of the PGA Tour season on Sunday, and the 74th of his career, winning at Congressional. That correlates respectively to the most wins on tour this year and the second-most ever.
Woods crept past Jack Nicklaus on the all-time list and now stands behind Sam Snead who is just eight wins away at 82. If Tiger regains even a semblance of his former self – as he appears he may – that record will fall.
But will Woods catch Nicklaus’ most-majors record? I don’t think so. Check out my analysis in Tiger Woods Race Against Time.
Either way, here are the top 20 golfers with the most career PGA Tour wins. Woods, Lefty and Vijay represent.
