David Klingler of the Houston Cougars Holds the Division I Single-Game Passing Yards Record

The most thrown in Division I was by Houston’s David Klingler: 716 yards in an early December 1990 game played in Tokyo.

Here’s a look at all the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision‘s all-time single-game records, from the offensive side of the ball (that’s what the top level of college football is called these days, by the way) .

Tomorrow: Defense.
