MLB: Average Ticket Prices and Fan Cost Index for All 30 Baseball Teams (2008-2012)

The Boston Red Sox are Major League Baseball’s most expensive ticket. They top all teams in average ticket price and Fan Cost Index (FCI).

According to my source, teammarketing.com, the Fan Cost Index “comprises the prices of four (4) adult average-price tickets, two (2) small draft beers, four (4) small soft drinks, four (4) regular-size hot dogs, parking for one (1)
car, two (2) game programs and two (2) least expensive, adult-size adjustable caps.”

  1. The primary issue in game is provide and demand: too many activities and too many chairs. Agents, in particular, can buy period passes and regain their financial commitment on just a few key activities. Agent passes for smaller activities can be and are thrown out on the resell at very low costs at http://www.ticketslay.com/baseball.php
For the history, I like the concept of purchasing inexpensive chairs, even if they are in the higher outdoor patio, also known as the Actual Fan Area. This way, I do not experience bad if the rainfall causes me to eat my $10 financial commitment for two chairs.
