Kevin Garnett Is the Only Player To Appear Amongst the Active Career Leaders in Points, Rebounds, Assists, Blocks and Steals

So who are today’s all-time NBA players? A bunch of these guys are going to the Hall of Fame, for sure. They are the active NBA career leaders in five statistical categories we often use to mark the measure of a baller: points, rebounds, assists, blocks and steals – through the end of the 2012-13 season.

The Brooklyn NetsKevin Garnett appears on all five lists. Amazing.

LeBron James, if he keeps it up, should be all over the board one day, too – except for blocks. He’s already there in points, assists and steals and is only 28.  James will crack the rebounds list in a few years.

Does that make KG the better all-around player? Them’s fighting words, but it is debatable if you’re looking at the numbers.

I’d go with James in the end – and he’ll likely prove it before it’s all over.
