Jerry Rice About To Score The First Of His Three Touchdowns Against The Denver Broncos In Super Bowl XXIV

Does a stat get more important than this? Maybe, but this has got to be up there – and so is Jerry Rice.

These are the top 10 NFLers with the most all-purpose touchdowns in Super Bowl history. That would be total rushing and receiving TDs (and any other kind, but no other returner or interceptor has as many total touchdowns as these guys in the big game).

Passing TDs are a bit of a different story. You can see the top 10 quarterbacks with the most passing touchdowns here. Then again, there is one QB who makes today’s list. John Elway has four rushing TDs – more than his three passing touchdowns. Now how about that.

As for these all-purpose TD leaders, it’s THE Jerry Rice with eight fat Super Bowl touchdowns at the top – and for two different teams at that. He’s got three more TDs – what many of the below have in total – than second-place Emmitt Smith.

Did you want to check out every player with at least two all-purpose Super Bowl touchdowns? Then check out the query I ran at my source, pro-football-reference.com.
