NBA: Teams with the Most Road Wins in the Postseason (16-Team Format)
Franchises, really. Which ones have the most postseason road wins since the 16-team playoff format (first employed in 1984)? What the heck. We’ll list all 30 (er, 29…somebody hasn’t won a playoff game yet). The best are at the top.
Surprisingly, the Boston Celtics are fifth.
It’s hard to get those postseason wins in somebody else’s house. Look at the meager numbers below that span 30 years of playoff basketball – and consider all those rounds and games with more than half (16 of 30 or less) the league making it all that time. Most franchises have just 30 away wins or fewer.Follow @VinGetz
