The New York Yankees have won 27 World Series Championships, most in baseball, and most in any other North American sport.
The most frequent victims? The Dodgers franchise has suffered the most at the hands of the Evil Empire, losing eight times to the Yanks in the Fall Classic. The Giants are next with five.
