Yesterday, Sports List of the Day took a look at quarterbacks with the most career rushing yards – but how does that translate into rushing touchdowns?

Yards are nice and all, but it’s all about scoring…so take a look at this list – the top 20 quarterbacks with the most rushing touchdowns.

Michael Vick has the most rushing yards for a QB in NFL history – but here he’s 15th in rushing TDs.  It’s the Cleveland BrownsOtto Graham who is the QB with the most rushing TD’s in NFL history: 44.  Graham only rushed for 882 yards in his career.

SteveYoung, Steve McNair and Randall Cunningham are the only QBs to appear in both top 10s (QB rushing yards,QB rushing TDs).

Want to see a list of the top 100 and more?  I punched the numbers into pro-football-reference.com‘s “Play Index” and came up with this. One note – this source has Jack Kemp at 38 TDs, but he actually had 40. Everything else is good and verified.

LIST UPDATED: Through Week 5 of 2013. Look at this. In just 2 seasons and five games, Cam Newton has already cracked the list.
