LeBron James is looking for his fourth MVP. That would put him in select company. Only four players in history have won at least that many. Four other players have won three.

All together, out of 57 MVP awards, 12 players have won more than once.

In 2012-13, the frontrunners, as of the date of this post and according to the NBA’s MVP Ladder, are James and Kevin Durant, Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony, each of whom are looking for their first.
