Kevin Garnett, Kobe Bryant and Active NBA Players with the Most Minutes Played (Regular Season)

Three of the Brooklyn Nets' Starting Five Have Over 30,000 Minutes Played - And Two of Those Have Over 40,000

Three of the Brooklyn Nets’ Starting Five Have Over 30,000 Minutes Played – And Two of Those Have Over 40,000

The All-Star packed Brooklyn Nets‘ bus has racked up quite a bit of mileage. Not only are Kevin Garnett (1st) and Paul Pierce two of the top five active players with the most minutes played, but two more – Jason Terry and Joe Johnson – join the list of top 20.

The Dallas Mavericks are looking pretty creaky themselves.

And how about LeBron James? Wow. He’s the only player under 30 on the list. You have to wonder if that will eventually start affecting his play or the longevity and success of his career.

And by the way, that’s just the regular season. Tomorrow, we’ll look at postseason minutes played and add up all the totals – then we’ll really see who the true active marathon men of the NBA are.  It’s time to get pumped up for the NBA season, which begins just two weeks from today on Oct. 29!
