The Next Great NPB Import: Masahiro Tanaka of the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles Is the No. 1 Free Agent Pitcher on the Market

New York Yankees second baseman, Robinson Cano, leads Major League Baseball‘s 2014 class of free agents. He’s really the only superstar on the list this year, but as CBS Sports‘ Baseball Insider Jon Heyman declares, the “market [is] much stronger than some think…There will be more money spent than many figure, and not only because there’s lots of cash out there. This free-agent class isn’t nearly as bad as some have speculated.”

Well, there you go.
