Countries with the Most FIFA World Cup Appearances

Brazil Has Not Only The Most FIFA World Cup Titles, But Also The Most Appearances

Brazil Has The Most FIFA World Cup Titles And Also The Most Appearances

Brazil has 20 FIFA World Cup appearances – most of any country. Couple that with the most titles – 5 – and Brazil is the most successful World Cup team of all time.

Italy and Germany are not far off, though.

The Italians have 18 World Cup appearances and boast four titles “to boot.” They are the most recent winners, too (2006).

The Germans also have 18 appearances and three Cups of their own.

These are the top 20 countries with the most FIFA World Cup appearances, including their years and titles (noted with asterisks).

Look at that. Even the Americans made the list. The United States has made it to the Cup 10 times, including the upcoming 2014 tournament.
