Philadelphia 76ers and the 10 Longest Single-Season Losing Streaks in NBA History
The Philadelphia 76ers are on the cusp of history – infamous history. This Thursday, against the Rockets (in Houston, no less), the Sixers will be going for the longest losing streak of all time. If they drop the game, they’ll tie the 2010-11 Cleveland Cavaliers (LeBron James‘ first season in Miami) with 26 losses in a row.
Six different franchises (seven times) have lost at least 20 in a row in a single season. The Sixers have now done it twice.
Below find the top 10 single-season losing streaks ever – everybody with at least 19 in a row.
UPDATED LIST: They did it. The Sixers have tied the Cavaliers with 26 straight losses.Follow @VinGetz
