Most Baseball Fans Attend Los Angeles Dodgers Games (At Least In 2013 And 2014)

In 2013, eight major league baseball teams broke the 3M home-attendance barrier, led by the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Again, based on the average numbers in 2014 (second list below, as of the date of this post), it looks like Dodgers home games will be the most attended in the league.

Overall, though, gate numbers are slightly (just slightly) down from last season, so it is unlikely other teams will join the big eight. The Boston Red Sox and Colorado Rockies will need a sales surge to get over the top.

And we may even have a few of the eight falling shy of the 3M mark this time around (take the Philadelphia Phillies for example).

We’ll come back at the end of the season to see how it all wraps up and take another look at the century as a whole so far. Sports List of the Day already crunched the home attendance totals from 2000-2012.
