World Series Records of Every MLB Team By Titles, W-L Percentage and Division

Six Of The New York Yankees' World Series Trophies

Six Of The New York Yankees’ World Series Trophies

A popular post around here provides an interesting take on the Super Bowl W-L records of every NFL team, divided up by wins, W-L percentage and even division.

What better October post, then, then to do the same for Major League Baseball and the World Series?

The New York Yankees, of course, have won the most championships – 27, more than double the second-place St. Louis Cardinals (11).

Four teams are undefeated in the Fall Classic, but that’s a bit unfair. The Miami Marlins, Toronto Blue Jays, Arizona Diamondbacks and Los Angeles Angels have hardly been to the World Series.

And there are still eight teams that have never cracked the season-ending champagne.
