Magic Johnson Played On Three Los Angeles Laker Teams That Swept The Western Conference Finals, Beginning With George Gervin And The San Antonio Spurs

The Los Angeles Lakers have swept the Western Conference Finals four times, and the San Antonio Spurs have done it twice. That’s six of the nine WCF sweeps since the conference format was adopted in 1970-71.

The Utah Jazz and Portland Trail Blazers pick up two of the other three sweeps.

And the now-Eastern Conference Milwaukee Bucks once swept a Western Conference Finals from the now-Eastern Conference Chicago Bulls.

Speaking of, what about the Eastern Conference and Eastern Conference Finals sweeps? We did that yesterday. There have been just five, including one this season. Take a look.
